The mission of
the Hematology Education Institute,
a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization, is to –
provide education and to support progress toward the
cure of benign and malignant hematologic disorders |

Overview:
Established in
2006, the Hematology Education Institute (HEI) was created to
fill an educational void related to hematologic diseases and
become the premier organization from which to receive high
quality, impartial CME-accredited medical education about benign
and malignant hematologic disorders. The Institute’s first
educational effort, the CML Education Initiative, is expected to
reach several thousand community physicians in 2007 via dinner
meetings, teleconferences, and webcasting through a
comprehensive website (www.hematologyeducation.org) that will
play an integral role in disseminating information and
coordinating the Institute’s activities. |
